Early rain will soon clear, then it will be mostly dry with sunny spells for the rest of the afternoon.
Through the evening showers will spread from the west, then these will continue overnight with a risk of snow on high ground, see the snow summary. There will also be clear spells which will allow RSTs to fall below freezing. Showers will continue on Tuesday morning, still with snow on high ground.
Snow summary
Showers are expected to turn to snow above 100-150m from around midnight, with overnight accumulations of 0-2cm possible above 200m. Through Tuesday morning showers will still fall as snow above about 200-300m, but no further settling is expected.
